"South African Wine Country and Safari" Sweepstakes Official Rules

No purchase necessary.

1. There are two (2) ways to enter the "South African Wine Country and Safari" Sweepstakes: (1) Enter on line by logging-on to: www.kumalausa.com/sweepstakes between 12:01 am (PT) on November 1, 2005 and 11:59 pm (PT) on March 31, 2006 (the "promotion period") and follow the prompts to complete in full the Official Online Entry Form, then press "submit" to automatically submit your entry. Limit of one (1) entry per e-mail address, per person. For entry to be accepted, entrant must submit a valid e-mail address. No electronically mass-produced or multiple entries allowed. Multiple entries will invalidate all entries; (2) To enter the "South African Wine Country and Safari" Sweepstakes by mail, complete an official entry form, available in participating locations or alternately on a 3" x 5" piece of paper, hand-write: your name, complete mailing address, and daytime phone number and mail in a hand-addressed business-size #10 envelope to: "South African Wine Country and Safari" Sweepstakes, PO Box 9066, Mission Viejo, CA 92690-9066. Enter as often as you want, but each entry must be mailed in a separate envelope. All entries must be postmarked by March 31, 2006 and received by April 7, 2006. No mechanically reproduced or photocopied entries allowed.
2. Prizes and Approximate Retail Value: One (1) Grand prize: 9-day/8-night tour of South Africa for two (2) adults. Tour includes roundtrip coach airfares for two adults from a major international gateway city nearest the winner's home to Johannesburg, South Africa; Transfers and single room double occupancy hotel accommodations at the Ormonde Protea Hotel, Gold Reef City for 1-night including hotel breakfast; half-day Gold Reef City tour, transfers to Hazyview, midday Shangaan Village tour with dance and lunch; Transfers to Casa do Sol, 1-night single room double occupancy hotel accommodations with breakfast & dinner, Scenic Balloon Flight over the Sabi River; Transfers to Makalali, Three (3) nights at Makalali Private Game Reserve, breakfast, lunch & dinner for 3-days & 2-Game activities; Transfers from Kruger Mpumalanga Airport to Cape Town Airport and ground to Lagoon Beach, 2/night single room double occupancy hotel accommodations including breakfast, half-day Cape point and Peninsula tour, half-day City and Mountain tour, full-day Cape Winelands tour; transfers to Le Franschoek Hotel and 1-night single room double occupancy hotel accommodations at the Le Franschoek Hotel with breakfast; Transfers to Cape Town Airport. Trip cancellation insurance, meals, beverages, communications, personal items, telephone calls, other ground transportation; gratuities and all other expenses not specified herein are the responsibility of the winner. Grand Prize Trip must be completed in its entirety by July 31, 2007 with arrangements made 60-days in advance or prize will be forfeited in its entirety. Exact travel dates and airline/hotel arrangements are subject to availability, airline/hotel restrictions and blackout dates apply and subject to availability. Approximate Retail Value $10,000 (actual value may vary based upon exact travel dates and point of departure).
3. Drawing: The Grand Prize will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received. Odds of winning a prize depends on the total number of eligible entries received. Drawing will be held on or about April 12, 2006 and will be conducted by Anthony & Associates, an independent judging organization whose decisions are final and binding in all matters regarding this promotion. Grand Prize winner will be notified in writing on or about April 17, 2006. Grand Prize will be awarded provided it is properly claimed and there is sufficient time to award prizes prior to travel.
4. Eligibility: Sweepstakes open to legal residents of the continental United States (excluding: Hawaii, Alaska & California), who are 21 years of age or older except employees of Vincor USA, their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, sales reps, wholesalers, distributors, printers, advertising and promotional agencies as well as employees of any alcoholic beverage manufacturer, wholesaler or retail licensee and members of the immediate families (parent, child, sibling and spouse) and households of each who are not eligible to participate or win a prize in the sweepstakes. All entrants, as a condition of entry, agree to be bound by these official rules and the decisions of the judges.
5. Grand Prize winner and his/her guest will be required to execute and return, within fourteen (14) days of prize notification, a notarized affidavit of eligibility and release of liability and, where not prohibited by law, publicity. Guest of Grand Prize winner must be 21 years of age or older and will be required to travel on same itinerary and depart from the same airport with Grand Prize winner. Grand Prize winner and guest must possess a valid U.S. Passport and other necessary documents and visa's prior to travel. Failure to comply with this requirement may result in forfeiture of prize and selection of an alternate winner. Prize may also be forfeited if the notification is mailed to the address listed on entry form and returned as undeliverable mail without a forwarding address. By accepting prize, winner consents to the use of their names and/or likenesses for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation or notice except where prohibited by law. Winner will be solely responsible for paying all applicable federal, state or local taxes on prize based upon the value of the prizes as set forth in these rules. No prize transfers, cash redemptions or substitutions except Sponsor may substitute a prize of greater or equal value in the event the advertised prize becomes unavailable.
6. By accepting the prize, winner waives the right to assert as a cost of winning said prize, any and all costs of redemption or travel to redeem said prize and any and all liability that might arise from redeeming or seeking said prize and winner releases sponsor, its affiliates, subsidiaries, employees, officers, directors, and promotion and advertising agencies from any and all liability, loss or damage, incurred with respect to the awarding, receipt, possession, use and/or misuse of any prize or participation in any prize related activities and acknowledge that said parties have neither made, nor are in any manner responsible or liable for, any warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to prize including its quality, mechanical condition or fitness for a particular purpose. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, modify or suspend the electronic portion of this sweepstakes in the event any virus, bugs or other causes beyond Sponsor's control corrupt the administration, security or proper play of the sweepstakes. Sponsor is not responsible for ISP provider malfunction, phone/cable company problems or equipment malfunction in connection with the contest. Sponsor is not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate entry information whether caused by Internet virus or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the sweepstakes or by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of the entries in the sweepstakes. Sponsor does not guarantee that the web site is free from viruses or other destructive materials and shall not be liable for any damages suffered by you as a result of inability to access web site or any other damages caused to your computer hardware or software or printer as a result of your participation in the sweepstakes. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for computer system, hardware, software or program malfunctions or for other errors, failures, or delays in computer that are human or technical in nature. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend the on-line portion of this sweepstakes should virus, bugs or other causes beyond Sponsor's control corrupt this administration, security or proper play of the contest. Winner will be solely responsible for paying all applicable federal, state or local taxes on prize based upon the value of the prize as set forth in these rules. Sponsor is not responsible for incomplete, illegible, damaged, late, lost, misdirected, or postage-due mail or entries. All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned. Anyone who attempts to defraud Sponsor will be prosecuted and will result in disqualification and forfeiture of prize. By entering this Sweepstakes, entrants agree that each entry becomes the property of Sponsor and that such entry may be used by the Sponsor for any proper purpose. Except for Sweepstakes entry and personally identifying information which the winners agree to disclose in the Publicity/Liability Release, all personally identifiable information collected during the entrant's participation in the Sweepstakes will be collected and used by Sponsor, its affiliates, agents and marketers for the proper administration and fulfillment of the Sweepstakes, as described in these Official Rules and in accordance with the Sponsor's privacy policy at: http://kumalausa.com/privacy/.
7. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF the sweepstakes IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS. 8. (VT residents may omit return postage from rules and entry form request). Requests must be postmarked by March 31, 2006 and received by April 7, 2006. No mechanically reproduced or photocopied requests allowed, only one (1) request per outer mailing envelope.
